One notable project I worked on was for NHOMe, a unique gastronomic experience by chef Matan Zaken, located in the heart of Paris’s 1st arrondissement. The restaurant offers a bespoke 10-step blind menu focused on seasonal produce, with each dish carefully crafted to perfection. The ceramics I created for NHOMe were designed to complement this immersive dining experience, enhancing both the culinary and sensory elements of the meal.
This commission was a wonderful collaboration, where the creative vision was a balanced blend of ideas between myself, Amande, and Matan. Matan’s vision for the dining experience, along with Amande’s artistic direction and my craftsmanship, all played a role in bringing the project to life. As Amande's craftsman, my role was to contribute my expertise and creative input, ensuring that the ceramics reflected her style while also aligning with the overall atmosphere and concept Matan envisioned for the restaurant.
