SHAPED BY STONE

Blown glass shaped in stone: made during a time when the world stood still.

I made these pieces during the early pandemic, a time of stillness and uncertainty. Blowing molten glass into natural stones, I watched it adapt within something immovable, a metaphor for reshaping the self in a rigid new world.

Later, photographer Sarah Neale reimagined the work, pairing it with fresh flowers in striking compositions that reveal both tension and beauty.

Created in isolation and transformed through collaboration, these works reflect a moment of fragility, pressure, and quiet change.
